Lennox Hearth Products, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a voluntary recall of it’s Superior Vent-Free Gas Log Sets and and VF Vent-Free Fireplaces and has warned consumers to discontinue use of the products immediately. The company warns that the products can fail to ignite and may allow gas to escape, potentially causing a dangerous fire hazard to consumers.

The US Consumer Product and Safety Commission has announced a recall of some 1 million baby slings produced by Infantino after the products caused the deaths of three infants. The government has recalled 1.2 million high chairs that present a fall hazard to children.
The high chairs, manufactured by the Graco company, can tip over unexpectedly when the screws that hold the front legs to the chair loosen and fall out. So far, more than 460 complaints have been filed and 24 injured have been reported, including cuts, bruises, scratches, head injuries, and fractures.

Due to concerns about possible salmonella contamination of hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) Proctor & Gamble have agreed to a voluntary recall of two types of Pringles chips made by the company. The recalled products include Pringles Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger potato crisps and Pringles Family Faves Taco Night potato crisps. The Food and Drug Administration warns consumers to heed recall warnings, because of the serious health problems that can arise due to salmonella infections.
