Nokia Recalls 14 Million Phone Chargers

Posted on Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 at 8:18 am

Finnish mobile giant Nokia is issuing a recall of 14 million cell phone chargers, which the company says may be defective. The company warns that the chargers may cause electrical shocks to users. If you’ve been the victim of a shoddy product, the product liability attorneys of Levinson Axelrod may be able to secure you compensation.

According to the company, the defect was discovered by in-house testers, who found that the casing on the chargers had a tendency of coming off, exposing the electrical components. They say there have been no consumer complaints. The models in question are the AC-3E and AC-3U, and the AC-4U. It is not clear yet how many of these were sold in the United States, but it is highly suggested that if you have one of these models, you contact the company immediately.

If you or someone you love has been injured because of a consumer product, contact the New Jersey product liability lawyers of Levinson Axelrod today by calling 800-346-5529 today.
