San Miguel Recalls Kale

Produce company San Miguel of Oxnard, California was informed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture that kale produced by the company tested positive for Listeria. The Ohio Department of Agriculture said that their lab had detected Listeria in a 10 oz package of kale with the label “Cut ‘N Clean Greens.” San Miguel is advising that all bags with a “USE BY” date of 11/19/09 with the lot code 14398 should be thrown out.
