Haier Recalls 54,000 Blenders

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Haier America Trading, L.L.C., of New York, are issuing a recall for a line of blenders, according to reports. If you or someone you know has been injured by a poorly manufactured or designed product, the New Jersey product liability lawyers of Levinson Axelrod may be able to help you get the compensation you deserve for your injury.

The blenders were imported by Haier from Hong Kong, who have issued the recall for approximately 53,800 units. The company has received about 60 complaints of blade assemblies falling apart, with at least one consumer being injured. The 500-watt blenders are in a stainless steel casing and carry the model number HB500BSS. They word “Haier” is printed near the power switch.
