Dehumidifier Sold at Home Depot is Recalled

Posted on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at 10:17 am

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Home Depot is recalling 2,000 Hampton Bay dehumidifiers due to possible fire hazards. If you or someone you love has been injured by a poorly manufactured product, the New Jersey product liability lawyers of Levinson Axelrod, P.A. may be able to help you get the compensation you need.

It was discovered that an internal component of the dehumidifier can fail and cause it to overheat. Home Depot has had 18 reports of the dehumidifiers catching fire and at least one report of a burn injury.

If you or someone you love has been injured by a consumer product, contact the New Jersey product recall lawyers of Levinson Axelrod, P.A. by calling 800-346-5529.
