4 arrested after crashing into police cruiser

Four Newark suspects have been arrested after their getaway car collided with an unmarked police vehicle.
The chase started after one suspect attempted to fill a forged prescription for liquid codeine at a CVS Pharmacy. A pharmacist contacted police, but the man ran to the getaway car with three people waiting inside.
A New Rochelle officer and his bloodhound suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The driver is charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving. All four face felony charges of possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The suspects range in age from 21 to 34 years-old.
