Kroger recalled some ice sold in its Indiana stores. According to reports from the supermarket chain, the recall was made for its Deluxe Chocolate Paradise Ice Cream.
The product may contain tree nuts, which were not listed as an ingredient on the label. Kroger recalled the product to prevent any possible allergic reactions by people allergic to tree nuts and unaware that they were in the ice cream.

Nirve Sports in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today publicly announced a voluntary recall of Nirve’s Chopper-style bicycles.
The bikes, about 725 of which are covered by this recall, pose a safety hazard due to the possibility of the bicycle stem on the handlebars cracking. This can potentially result in a serious fall and injury to the rider.
The models involved include Red Star, Skulls, and Cannibal chopper-style bikes.
Consumers are urged to return the bike to the place of purchase for free repairs.

Baby cribs made by Simplicity Inc. were recalled this week. According to a press release, the recall occurred at Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Target Corp., and Babies R Us.
The recall was related to previous accidents that were caused by poorly constructed cribs. The accidents caused some children to suffocate.

WinCo Food announced a recall for ground beef last week. According to a company press release, the recall was meant to address potential E. coli contamination concerns.
While most E. coli-related recalls are issued because of government testing or a case of E. coli, the WinCo potential E. coli contamination was discovered by a Seattle lawyer. The attorney’s firm conducted a private study as part of proof for his own cases.

Ford Motor Co. recalled more than 33,000 of its 2010 cars and SUVs. The recall will fix the vehicle’s front seat recliner mechanism’s, which could be faulty and could cause serious accidents.
The U.S. Highway Traffic Safety Administration received notice of the potential defect April 16. Auto owners will be notified of the recall by mail starting at the end of this month.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the legs on the Spine Align and Posture Perfect Ergonomic Office Chairs can break, posing a falling hazard. Three people have reported minor injuries as a result of the chairs. Additionally, one person’s pre-existing back problem was aggravated.

On Jan. 8, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and St. Martin’s Press LLC, recalled the “Big Rex and Friends” cloth books due to exposure to lead. IKEA Home Furnishings along with the Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a voluntary recall of LEOPARD Highchairs for a choking and falling hazard for small children. OKK Trading Inc. and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of the “Action Team” Toy Gun Dart Sets due to a choking threat.
